Chris Duncan Seminar – Important Capacity & Format Update

Hi guys, just a quick clarification and update regarding the Chris Duncan Seminar on Saturday the 20th (12:00 PM start).

When we first planned the event, I thought we’d be able to fit around 100 people training on the mats at one time in the hall. After properly laying out the mats and planning the space, it’s clear that there’s no safe or practical way to fit that many people in while keeping the quality of training high.

Because of that, we’ve capped the mat space at 60 people maximum. This ensures everyone has enough room to train properly, stay safe, and actually get full value from the seminar.

As a result:

  • Non-member tickets are now sold out

  • We still have a limited number of spaces reserved for our own members, which will be filled on a first-come basis

Seminar Format

To make the best use of the space and give everyone quality training time:

  • Half of the room will be focused on grappling

  • Half of the room will be focused on striking (Muay Thai)

You’ll be able to choose which area you want to work in during the seminar.

At the end of the seminar, we’re planning to roll into live training:

  • Grappling will be open rolling

  • Striking will be very light, controlled sparring

Spectators

Family and friends are more than welcome to come along:

  • Spectators can watch from the stands

  • Spectator entry is free and does not require a ticket

Limiting the numbers and splitting the room this way will make the day run smoothly and keep the standard of training high. It’s shaping up to be a great event, and we’re looking forward to seeing everyone there on Saturday the 20th at 12:00 PM.
